How is sea freight calculated by CBM?
Sea freight is priced by CBM (cubic metres) or revenue tonnes—CBM equals length × width × height in metres, and light bulky cargo can cost more than dense pallets.

Airlines and many express services bill the higher of actual weight and volumetric weight. A common air volumetric formula is length × width × height (cm) ÷ 6000 = volumetric kg. Chargeable weight = max(actual kg, volumetric kg).
